In reports coming in that we have not yet been able to confirm, eye witnesses say that striking workers in Gaborone are busy barricading the roads around the city council by burning tyres.
Police are currently trying to put out the fires, meanwhile street vendors in the Main Mall and surrounding areas are said to have packed up their goods and fled the area.
Latest reports say the strikers are now in the main mall.
