The leader the opposition Botswana Congress Party Dumelang Saleshando has attacked President Ian Khama for the remarks he allegedly uttered during his recent visit to the United States, lambasting the BCP for supporting the public sector strike.
President Khama is alleged to have told Batswana in New York that the opposition, particularly the BCP, was inciting public workers to embark on a strike. The Presidency is yet to verify the remarks.
